The Southern California Blues Society is a non-profit organization (501)c(3) established in 1982 that is dedicated to the perpetuation of the uniquely American music form - the " Blues ". The preservation and promotion of American Blues is accomplished by staging public events showcasing some of the finest Blues performers. We also provide a stage for new and lesser-known talent and have established the Willie Dixon Scholarship Award, The Artist Assistance Fund, a Blues in the Schools Program and other projects designed to fulfill its charter.
